Is your homeschool harmonious? Do your children always obey and wait patiently for your next instruction? Perhaps. Most likely not. Instead of worrying about perfection, I'm on a journey to find peace without understanding and the joy unspeakable of serving my children and therefore serving the Lord, without expecting my children to be perfect angels, or myself to be the perfect instructor. Normally, I can only walk as far as the kitchen sink before my children request that I stay by their side to complete school, so now my job is to foster independent learners as I start to walk beyond the kitchen sink.
